Earlier in the week I had a great discussion with Donald J. Robertson, the well-known author, therapist, and teacher of Stoicism. This was my second time on his podcast and again it was fun and stimulating. The chosen topic was how anger is viewed and dealt with in Buddhism and Stoicism. We also discussed the history of early Buddhism, how the Buddha’s words were remembered or added to, and the nature and history of mindfulness meditation, among other things!
